Motor Boatin' and Father's Day

We've been lucky the last of couple weeks.  Chad's parents have a tri-toon boat that, unfortunately, was not going to get a lot of use down in Oklahoma this summer since the only nearby lake is waaay under normal levels.  Enter us and our 10 minute drive to always-over-flowing Tuttle Creek Lake. :)  They are letting us use the boat this summer and it's gotten it's use already.

R's first time on Nana & Papa's boat.

It's maiden voyage included my friends.  We had planned to have a "girls day" that day, however after boatin' it turned into a girls "night" by shoving food in our faces, watching the latest "Twilight", and slumbering partying it up at Lachelle's. :)

Our sea captain.

Sharing a Capri Sun with Madeline.

The next weekend brought fun at Milford where Chad's friend Aaron's family was having their annual camping weekend.  R was NOT liking my holding Amaia.

Then the rain came.  That was our cue to head home for the day.  Sunday, Father's Day, we spent the afternoon at Tuttle, just me, R, Chad, and Mom.  We had a great time; R got to try out her fishing pole for the very first time.

Chad helped her rig it up.

She was mesmerized by the worms and picked out the one she wanted.  Ironically enough, she picked out a monster.

So proud.  Unfortunately we did not get a single bite that day.  The water was extremely dirty so I'm sure that had something to do with it.

All in all we had a fantastic Father's Day with Chadder doing what he loves best!
