9 months...say what?!

Yep, the Roo turned 9 months last Wednesday.  With each "month" birthday that sneaks up on us, it definitely doesn't become any more believable than the last!

We are 18lbs. 4 oz. and 28 1/2" long.  We've always been just above the 50th percentile for weight and just above the 75th for height, but now we are just below in each.  No worries though, still growing like a champ!

Here's what we are about this month:

Cruising.

Standing in our crib.

Obstacle courses.

Practicing walking.

We hold our hand out ALL the time.  Only I'm blog-stupid and can't figure out how to make "portrait" photos stay up and down.  If you know how to do it, let me know would ya? ;)

Started "dancing".  Or atleast bouncing up and down.

This past weekend we finally gave in and started "sleep training".  Not that the Roo was an awful sleeper, we just needed to get her out of our bed (which is where she's seemed to spend a lot of time the past 2 months).  The first two nights went very well (a.k.a. not NEAR as much crying as we expected).

Here's to the 10th month, I have a feeling we may get our first step in there at some point!

Wildcats & Fishies

This past week brought the Roo two firsts.  Well, actually three if you count puking at daycare and having to go home early.  Nevertheless, we went to the K-State Women's Basketball game vs. Missouri with Chad's school (they take all the "good" kids each year).  We fought the bitter cold to be there.  It's always fun....Chad jokes that their parents give them each atleast $50 to spend at the concession stand and I think he's right.  The Roo had a blast and with her new latest thing being clapping, well, the Cats got clapped at a lot. :)

Next we went with Dad to the lake for an attempt at trout fishing.  The Roo really seemed to enjoy watching Dad fish so I can't wait till Spring when she won't have to be all bundled up.
