A family wedding in Kingfisher...
4th of July...
Kansas City and the zoo...
Saying goodbye to some dear friends, the Yates'...
Riley acquired Pinkeye and the biennial Plummer reunion in Texas (SeaWorld).
Lastly, Chad's new J.O.B.! Whew. I'm tired. Is it Fall yet?
Firstly, a little about Chad's new position. He is going to be an 8th grade math teacher at Eisenhower Middle School. No more 40 minute commutes twice a day!!! And he will still get to coach! Needless to say, we are all excited. We are going to miss the FRMS family immensely but feel confident they won't forget about us!
We spent last weekend in Dodge City celebrating the annual event that is Dodge City Days. I wasn't the adament picture-taker that I usually am, but still mustered up a few.
Parade time! Do you see the police lights yet?
Saturday night we visited Boot Hill for the gunfight and Variety Show (that my uncle directs). Riley had a rip roarin' good time. She was mesmerized by the can can dancers and Miss Kitty.
We left Sunday for Manhattan with R staying in Dodge an extra day. Sunday she finally got a photo with Miss Kitty (and Uncle Doug as "Doc")!
It just so happened to be Chad and I's wedding anniversary, and even though I love my Roo dearly, it was a nice, quiet evening filled with Papa Murphy's pizza and catching up on our tv shows.
I will try not to be such a stranger any more!
