Nothing like a baby's giggle to put a smile on your face. The Roo's been giggling for awhile now but everyday it becomes easier and easier to get her to do it. We had some fun with her last night before we tried the nasty ol' green beans again.

Yummy to my tummy...REAL food!
Or atleast baby food, anyway. We've started exploring the world of pureed fruits and vegetables for the Roo. We've had applesauce, avocado, sweet potatoes and green beans. Next stops: Bananas and squash. Despite a few "I'm going to hurl" faces from her, overall I think it's been a success. :)

26-12, Troopers
The Roo went to her first football game of the Dad's boys last night, they played Chapman. Nana & Papa arrived here yesterday and got to go too. The Troopers are now 2-1 and play Anthony Middle School next Tuesday. GO TROOPERS!

Five whole months old
We spent the weekend helping Grammy celebrate her 50th birthday in Kansas City. Nonny and Uncle Doogie came up for the festivities too. We went to the Steamboat Arabia museum (totalllly recommend it, so cool!) and to the Royals/White Sox game.

The Roo turned five months old on Sunday and weighed in at approximlatey 15 lbs. 8 oz. and is 25 1/2" long (No doctor's appointment this month).

Here's a litte update on what the crazy girl is doing:
She first rolled over the fifth of August.
Started cereal a month ago, seems to be loving it.
Blowing raspberries like crazy, even during solid food time allowing us to wear it.
Loves being on her tummy despite how much she hated it a month ago.
Pushes up on her tummy (getting those arms ready to crawl).
We tried applesauce last week, after the initial shock of something new in her mouth, she seemed to like it.
Her legs are ALLLLways moving.
She's sleeping all night now, 8pm to 6:30amish.
She absolutely hates going to sleep when she thinks she's going to miss something (she has an arm she refuses to fold when she's tired but not wanting to go to sleep, Grammy coined this her "rebellion arm").
She doesn't know a stranger (yet!).
She's already loving cups, if she sees one she has her arms open ready for you to give it to her.
Seems to be still be a ways from sitting on her own, pretty wobbly!
She LOVES mornings and in fact, doesn't mind at all to be woken up, here's proof:
We've been really utilizing our vocal cords lately, so much in fact that we discovered how to squeal on Friday. We were trying to get everything ready to leave for Kansas City when the Roo decided it was a good time to practice:

Plummers?....Plummers? HERE!
So I've decided to get on the "blogging bandwagon" and start one we could call our own. I'm really good about keeping my Facebook updated with photos and our latest happenings however it is indeed more vague and doggone it, some people (bless their hearts) may actually care enough about our little ol' Plummer family to READ whole sentences about us!
In a perfect world, I would have started this on April 18, 2011 (if not sooner). Obviously too late for that, but with the Roo turning five months this upcoming Sunday (you heard me right, FIVE whole months old) I say better late than never.
Here's to a fun-filled fall!
