Friday night was the "Brochachos Crawfish Boil" (M and his two friends), so in order to prep, R helped Nonny & Grammy with decorations.
Baylee's handiwork.
Then came the crawfish.
Looks absolutely disgusting. But I'm up for trying anything, so I asked Baylee to prepare me one since I had no clue how to go about it. It actually was pretty good, tasted a lot like shrimp.
Then came the swimming. Boy did we have a great time. Allen and Kylie made the trip from Sugar Land, too! (As opposed to Salt Land...badump bump bump...bad joke, I know).
Man, Marshall and his "brochachos" must be popular guys.

The next day brought the ceremon in College Station. At first we thought why in the heck would they hold the ceremony an hour away, but then realized that it was very much air-conditioned unlike the outdoor stadium at Magnolia High School.
Saturday night we went to another graduation party of some friends of the Smiths. Complete with DJ, dance floor, and zipline (the latter is a regular occurrence in their back yard).
Sunday brought much needed pool relaxation.
We were talking about age differences at one point and how Marshall and I are 12 years apart. He laughed that I was 30 years old, and I reminded him that in 12 years, he will also be 30 years old. Then he reminded me that I will be 42 years old at that point. You win, Marshall. :)
Congrats again, buddy!
